These Long Island Zip Codes Rank Among State's Most Expensive, New Report Says

A number of Long Island zip codes were ranked among top 50 places with the most expensive homes in New York state, according to a new report.

Stacker.com published the ranking on Tuesday, April 5, using the Zillow Home Values Index for all homes as of February of 2021.

At the top of the list is 11962 in the Suffolk County village of Sagaponack, which has a typical home value of $5,262,148, a value that is 1,390.4 percent above the typical value in New York, according to the report. 

Suffolk County zip codes took the top four spots on the list, with 11976 in Water Mill ranked second most expensive, 11932 in Bridgehampton ranked third, and 11930 in Amagansett ranked fourth.

Those three zip codes each had a typical home value above $3 million.

A number of Nassau County zip codes also made the list, with 11568 in Old Westbury ranking 10th most expensive in the state and 11765 in Mill Neck ranking 13th.
